I remember the way I felt when I first started working out in general. I had just purchased a program from a fitness guru on Instagram and was stoked to start this new chapter of mine. It was a 3-month program and I followed it to the tea which led to me having some great results. Nonetheless, it was the start of my fitness journey and it’s been great so far as I have learned a ton since then.

TIP #1: Write Your Goals Down

Yes, you know it. You have to write down your fitness goals but don’t be general specify what you want to achieve, by when you want to achieve it, and why are you deciding to achieve this goal. Knowing and having your goals written down is so crucial so that you can remind yourself of why you decided to start in the first place. Not only do you want to get clear and specific on your goals but you also want to record your current weight, and your body measurements or use your favorite jeans as a way of knowing where you started.

TIP #2: Track Your Workouts on a Calendar

This is by far one of the few key steps to building up your fitness foundation especially as a beginner. You want to keep track of your workouts on a calendar by writing down as specific as possible what you did. This will not only help you stay consistent but you will also be able to see the type of workouts that your body already adjusted to as well.

TIP #3: Stay Consistent
